Landice L7 Rehabilitation Treadmill

The Landice L7 Rehabilitation Treadmill is designed for clinical physiotherapy, medical rehabilitation, and active aging programmes. Manufactured in New Jersey, USA to exacting engineering standards, the L7 RTM is trusted by NHS trusts, private hospitals, and leading rehabilitation centres who require proven patient safety, clinical precision, and long-term reliability.

With a 400 lb (181 kg) patient capacity, zero starting speed, 300 micro-amp isolation leakage kit, and extended parallel medical handrails, the L7 RTM delivers the clinical functionality and safety architecture that therapy teams depend on — engineered for the demands of real rehabilitation environments, not adapted from commercial fitness equipment.

Market Leading Specification

  • Maximum speed 19.3 km/h (12.0 mph) — from absolute zero for patient safety
  • Reversing treadbelt up to -3 mph with remote stop/start switch (optional)
  • Up to 15% incline
  • Maximum user weight 181 kg (400 lbs)
  • Running surface 50.8 cm (20") x 147.3 cm (58")
  • 4.0 HP continuous duty drive motor
  • 2.5" rollers
  • 1" reversible deck — extending service life and reducing running costs
  • 300 micro-amp isolation leakage kit — clinical electrical safety standard
  • Extended parallel medical handrails with remote emergency stop
  • Low 5.5" step-up height — most accessible entry point in the Landice rehab range
  • Solid aluminium frame — rust-free, hospital-grade construction
  • Manufactured in New Jersey, USA — 50+ years of precision engineering

Clinical Safety by Design

Every safety feature of the L7 RTM exists for a clinical reason. Zero starting speed eliminates the jarring belt start that poses fall risk to patients with impaired balance, mobility limitations, or neurological presentations. The extended parallel medical handrails provide full-length bilateral support across the entire running surface. The 300 micro-amp isolation leakage kit meets clinical electrical safety requirements for medical environments as standard.

At just 5.5" step-up height, the L7 RTM offers the lowest patient access point in the Landice rehabilitation range — making it the preferred choice for patients with severe mobility limitations, post-acute presentations, or those requiring frame or walking aid support at the point of access. The optional reversing treadbelt — controlled via a remote stop/start switch — enables backward walking protocols up to -3 mph, supporting ACL rehabilitation, post-stroke gait correction, and vestibular rehabilitation.

Rehabilitation Control Panel

The Landice Rehab Console gives physiotherapy teams precise, reproducible control over every patient session. The 9" full colour Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) presents all session parameters clearly, with real-time heart rate monitoring via interactive contact sensors.

  • 9" full colour LCD display
  • 5 built-in programmes with variable time, speed and incline
  • 5 user-defined programmes — for standardised departmental protocols
  • 2 Goal programmes: Time and Distance
  • 2 validated fitness tests: Balke Protocol and Firefighter Test
  • 1 built-in heart-rate monitoring programme
  • Interactive Contact Heart Rate monitoring
  • Numeric keypad with express speed and incline keys
  • Imperial or Metric configurations
  • USB port for software updates
  • 2-year console warranty

VFX Shock Absorption System

The L7 RTM features Landice's VFX Shock Absorption System — engineered from medical research to provide optimum comfort, smoothness, and reliability whilst significantly reducing impact loading on joints. Delivering cushioning five times softer than natural grass, the VFX system is particularly valuable for post-surgical patients and those with lower-limb conditions where impact reduction is a clinical priority.

Engineered for Clinical Use

The L7 RTM is built for the demands of a physiotherapy department or rehabilitation centre. Its solid aluminium frame is rust-free and withstands intensive daily use, rigorous cleaning regimes, and consistent patient throughput. The 1" reversible deck extends service life and reduces ongoing maintenance costs — providing genuine long-term value for clinical procurement teams.

Clinical Applications

  • Post-acute and early-stage rehabilitation — ideal for post-acute patients due to its low step-up height
  • Post-surgical orthopaedic rehabilitation — hip, knee, and lower-limb recovery
  • ACL and tendon reconstruction — progressive loading with optional backward walking capability
  • Neurological and stroke rehabilitation — gait re-education with full handrail support
  • Cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation — supervised exercise with heart rate control
  • Active aging and falls prevention — safe, supervised balance and mobility programmes
  • Occupational rehabilitation — Balke and Firefighter functional capacity evaluation

L7 or L8 — Which is Right for Your Facility?

The L7 RTM is the ideal choice for facilities prioritising patient access and ease of entry, or where the caseload includes a high proportion of post-acute, elderly, or severely mobility-impaired patients. Its lower step-up height and lighter footprint make it well suited to departments where space or patient transfer considerations are a priority.

For facilities requiring a larger running surface, higher patient weight capacity, or heavier-duty clinical throughput, the Landice L8 RTM offers a 22" x 63" running surface and 500 lb capacity within the same clinical safety architecture. Contact our team to discuss the right specification for your department.

Conditions Applying to All Landice Products

Warranty Registration — Required Within 30 Days

All Landice products must be registered within 30 days of purchase to activate the full limited warranty. Register at https://www.ukfitnessequipment.co.uk/pages/product-registration. Products not registered within 30 days revert to a 12-month parts and labour warranty.

Annual Servicing — Required as a Warranty Condition

Professional servicing is required every 12 months to maintain warranty validity. Annual servicing can be arranged through our authorised service team: sales@magnisports.co.uk or 0333 335 5646. Running decks should be lubricated every 6–8 weeks under standard use, or every 4 weeks under heavy use. Failure to complete approved maintenance may invalidate warranty coverage.

Registered treadmills need to be serviced annually by MAGNI Sports Ltd or authorised agent as part of our warranty conditions. Just like a car needs servicing, treadmills need to be maintained for optimum performance.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Improper or missed maintenance — failure to follow the maintenance schedule in the product manual
  • Normal wear and tear — batteries, grips, console overlays, pedal straps, heart rate transmitters, USB ports
  • Cosmetic conditions — scratches, dents, peeling, noise or vibration that do not impair mechanical function
  • Treadbelt tensioning and tracking — adjustment and alignment are owner responsibilities
  • Electrical misuse — incorrect power supply, use of power strips, or improper grounding (must connect to a grounded wall outlet only)
  • Heart rate system performance — varies by user physiology, age, and method of use
  • Non-climate-controlled environments — garages, outdoor settings, pool rooms, saunas, bathrooms, car ports
  • Unauthorised repairs or modifications — any self-repair or modification not approved by Landice
  • Non-functional parts — motor covers, shrouds, plastic coverings, water bottle holders, entertainment racks, power cords
  • Installation, set-up and diagnostic costs — not covered beyond the UKFE 1-year labour warranty period
  • Damage from moving the product — transit or relocation damage is excluded
  • Continued use after a known defect — using the product after a defect is recognised invalidates coverage

Limitation of Remedies

The original owner's exclusive remedy is limited to repair or replacement of any component deemed defective by Landice. Landice does not provide monetary compensation, gym membership refunds, lost work time, diagnostic visit costs, or transportation costs.
